1 medium Apple, shredded, equals roughly one cup
1 Cup Flour
1 pinch of Salt
3/4 Cup Almond Milk
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 TS Almond Extract
1/4 TS Baking Powder
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
2 TB Butter
Make the maple butter by melting butter and real maple syrup in a pot on low until it just combines. It will be a little thicker than syrup alone. Take off heat.
Mix into the batter ingredients and let sit as you heat a griddle with more butter.
Make pancakes and then cover with maple butter.
