Triple Chocolate Dipped Cookies

Triple Chocolate CookiesCookies:

1 Cup and 1/2 Cups Chocolate Chips, chopped and divided

3 TB Butter or Smart B

1 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Eggs

1 TS vanilla

1 1/2 Cup Flour

2 TB Cocoa Powder

1/2 TS Baking Powder

1/2 TS Sea Salt


1 Cup Chocolate Chips

3 TB Butter or Smart B

2 TS Water or Agave

Holiday Themed Sprinkles

ChocolateMix the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder in one bowl.

In another bowl whisk the eggs and brown sugar with the vanilla.

Divide the chocolate chips into 1 cup and the other 1/2 cup.

In a double boiler melt the butter and 1 cup of chocolate chips until smooth. Add this chocolate mixture to the egg and brown sugar bowl. Mix thoroughly. Then slowly add in small amounts the flour and mix until the batter comes together.


This makes about 12 cookies. So drop 6 spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 325 degrees. Take out and let cool for at least 15 minutes. And then repeat with the second half of the batter.

To make the glaze, melt the 1 cup of chocolate chips with the butter and agave or water [this will help it stay thin] and then keep on low heat until you’re ready to glaze the cookies.

Christmas Theme

Make it easy on yourself to add the sprinkles by using a baking dish. Dunk the cooled down cookie in the glaze and then shake sprinkles on the glaze before it sets.

Set all the cookies on a baking sheet after glazing and decorating – then allow to set in the fridge for at least an hour, overnight is best.
