Apple Hand Pies

Make the dough:

1.75 Cups Flour

1 TB Sugar

1/2 TS Kosher Salt

1 Stick of Butter [8 TB]

1/4 Cup Ice Water

Mix all the ingredients in a food processor minus the water and add at the end, slowly incorporating into the dough so it comes together.

Chill in the fridge for 1 hour.

Make the filling.

Cut up 2-3 apples into small cubes.

Caramelize in sugar and butter until soft and gooey.

Roll out the dough and cut into circles with a 3 inch circle cutter.

Fill the little dough circles with a tablespoon of filling.

Press together and seal with water and make fork indentations along the edge.

Paint an egg wash on top.

Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown.
