Plum Tart

Make the dough:

2 Cups Flour

1 TS Salt

1 TS Sugar

1 Stick of Butter, cold and cubed

1 TB Water

1 Egg

Filling:

5 vanilla wafers, crushed

2 TB brown sugar

4 plums, halved and pits removed

Clean up the plums by halving and de-pitting the core. Wash the outside skin real good.

Take 1/2 of the dough and mold to the tart pan. The other half will be the top.

Fill the inside of the tart with the crumbled cookies and brown sugar. Place the plums cut side down. Place the top sheet of dough on top of the tart and seal the edges shut.

Bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees and then top with powdered sugar when cooled.
