Papaya Sorbet

This doesn’t look exactly like store bought sorbet – but I promise it tastes just as good. This is what it looked like after running it through an ice cream maker for 20 minutes. Good enough for me.

Cut open a papaya. Scoop out all the seeds and peel off the skin. Chop up and pulse in a blender.

Add some sweetner: either sugar or agave. And a little bit of acid: either lemon or lime juice. Lime compliments papaya nicely. Refrigerate for as long as your ice cream maker specifies. And then make your sorbet.
