Double Chocolate Cookies

1/2 Cup Butter, softened

1/2 Cup Sugar, I used truvia as an experiment – I probably wouldn’t use it again in cookies – too sweet

1 Egg

1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder

1 Cup Flour

pinch of Salt

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1 Cup Chocolate Chips

Mix everything in a bowl.

Divide the dough into 2 parts, and then each part into 8 balls. You will have 16 cookies from this recipe.

Put wax paper down on a baking sheet and press 8 balls into circles for one batch. Try to make them as even and level as possible.

Bake 8 at a time for 14 minutes at 350 degrees. If you want them gooey – try going 8-12 minutes, depends on your oven.
