Candied Lemon

1 Lemon, sliced in thin slices

1 Cup of Sugar

1 Cup of Water

Ice Bath

I got this recipe from good ole’ Martha Stewart.

This took me a couple tries. The first time I did this, I forgot about them [since they’re on the stove for an hour] and this happened:

So be careful, they can turn on you in five minutes. Use them to top cakes, as a treat, or with other fruit.
