A very simple dish this can be made in literally 10 minutes.
1/4 box of Capellini Pasta
1 teaspoon Thai Chili Paste
3 TB Butter
1/4 Cup shredded Parmesan
Chopped Fresh Basil
I will say that in this case, the kind of pasta matters. If you’re making this with stuff lying around at home – find the thinnest pasta possible. You could use short pasta, but it really won’t be the same.
Boil your noodles. They take no longer than 4 minutes. In a bowl, toss the dry noodles in the butter and thai chili paste. Add the parmesan cheese. Mix gently.
Fry the eggs… Crispy as possible with runny yolk.
Divide the pasta between plates and top with an egg. Garnish with fresh basil. At some grocery stores they sell these little basil bushes. In my opinion they are a lot better than the basil stuffed into a little plastic box. It’s inexpensive too, only 3 bucks and totally worth it.
