I never knew how easy it was to make homemade truffles.
You only need three ingredients for the basic truffle before you add any coatings.
In a bowl melt 2 Cups of Chocolate Chips, one 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk, and a tablespoon of vanilla. You can either melt in the microwave in small increments or on the stove top. Once it comes together let it cool for a bit and then pop the bowl in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
It will harden and become a fudge like substance. Scoop out with an ice cream spoon into balls and roll in cocoa powder, sprinkles, powdered sugar or other desired toppings. Refrigerate leftovers after eating. They will melt if you keep them out, since they don’t have any preservatives like the store bought ones. Just let them warm up before you serve again.
