Black Bean Burgers

These were a lot more successful than the mushroom burgers I made a month ago.

In a food processor blend: 1-2 cups of 75% cooked black beans, 1-2 eggs, cilantro, garlic, onion, plus season to your liking.

Blend before it gets too fine. It should be sticky and hearty. That’s why you have to gauge if you need 1 or 2 eggs, depending on the amount of beans. I didn’t measure, but filled about half of the food processor up.

Form into patties and grill, pan fry or bake. I pan fried these in some olive oil until crunchy. About 3 minutes a side.
